1 DAY TOUR Alto Shilcayo
We start from the entrance cabin, located within Alto Shilcayo protected area and visit first the hummingbird garden. Then we enjoy a beautiful trek through the wonders of this area of the Amazon, observing the forest fauna and flora (frogs and other amphibians, birds, medicinal plants…) about which our guides know a lot. Upon arrival, we refresh ourselves in the beautiful Tamushal and Vestido de la novia waterfalls and enjoy some free time at our Tambo in the middle of the jungle.

2 Days route at the mountain jungle
DAY 1: See 1-day tour; night in a tent in our Tambo.
DAY 2: [Option 1] we hike from the Tambo to Julianpampa waterfall in the morning. We take a break in the area, enjoying a beautiful view.
[Option 2] We hike to Tres Marías waterfall, where we have lunch and rest. We continue our trek until the natural lookout, at the summit of the Cordillera Escalera.

DAY 1: See 1-day tour; night in a tent in our Tambo.
DAY 2: We hike from the Tambo to Julianpampa waterfall in the morning. We take a break in the area, enjoying a beautiful view. In the afternoon, we make it back to the Tambo and either spend the night there or continue to camp in the jungle.
DAY 3: We hike to Tres Marías waterfall, where we have lunch and rest. We continue until the natural lookout, at the summit of the Cordillera Escalera. Return to Tarapoto.
